Prana Yoga Classes
Louise is excited to begin medical school this fall. To ease the transition process, she has decided to postpone teaching until January 2009 (see scheduled classes below). Please wear comfortable clothing. Bring a blanket or mat and a bolster or pillow if you require support for your knees or back. A nonrefundable $30 check payable to the library is due at registration. Space is limited. Dates: 1/17, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/14 About Prana Yoga Classes You will learn breathing techniques and postural alignment to deepen your focus and experience in each posture. The postures are sustained so that when released, benefits can be fully experienced and integrated. The structure of the class is very similar to Hatha and Kripalu yoga. Modifications to accommodate the uniqueness of the body are always encouraged. Louise offers the options of adjustments for beginners and challenging variations for advanced students. The benefits of the class are broad yet profound. They include strengthening, toning, flexibility, balance, revitalization, sharpened mental focus, and deep relaxation of mind and body. Groups with their own space may schedule a private class with Louise.
